The craziest project I have been asked to do was when a client wanted me to add her dog, Lucky, into the family photo because they forgot to get the dog in the original shot. I went ahead and made them a few versions to choose from. They liked how this turned out so much that they used this edited picture for the front of their 2010 Christmas cards! (And yes, they sent one to me. )
